| The
Accurate Forming division was owned by Tyco International
from the early 1960s until acquired by Shan in 2000.
Accurate Forming produces deep-drawn metal components
for original equipment manufacturers in the automotive,
medical, industrial, ordnance and premium writing
instrument industries, and is a recognized leader
in these markets. Accurate's products and market
strength stem from its ability to design and manufacture
complex metal parts that offer lower cost alternatives
to its customers when compared to traditional product
designs and processes.
Accurate
works with most metals, and has high quality secondary
operations such as silk screening, chrome and
nickel plating, lacquer finishes, electro-static
powder coating, and polishing, all of which combine
to allow for single-sourcing. Accurate has established
itself as a highly innovative supplier that can
take on product development and project management
responsibilities and is regarded as a natural
extension of its customers' in-house design teams.
