The Accurate Forming division was owned by Tyco International from the early 1960s until acquired by Shan in 2000. Accurate Forming produces deep-drawn metal components for original equipment manufacturers in the automotive, medical, industrial, ordnance and premium writing instrument industries, and is a recognized leader in these markets. Accurate's products and market strength stem from its ability to design and manufacture complex metal parts that offer lower cost alternatives to its customers when compared to traditional product designs and processes.

Accurate works with most metals, and has high quality secondary operations such as silk screening, chrome and nickel plating, lacquer finishes, electro-static powder coating, and polishing, all of which combine to allow for single-sourcing. Accurate has established itself as a highly innovative supplier that can take on product development and project management responsibilities and is regarded as a natural extension of its customers' in-house design teams.

Shan's Thermodynamics division is located in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Thermodynamics manufactures standard and custom-designed rotational molded products for material handling applications and for the utility industry. Material handling products include reinforced pallets, totes, bins, and containers for automotive, food, chemical, and pharmaceutical companies. Thermodynamics also provides many other products used by the utility industry including transformer pads, vaults and pedestals.

Thermodynamics' innovations in design and product development are a critical part of the service it provides when working closely with its customers' material managers and in-house engineers. Thermodynamics holds numerous design patents and can boast that its engineers designed the AIAG-approved returnable pallet now being used in the automotive industry for the shipment of fasteners. As a result, Thermodynamics is proud to be a Tier 1 supplier to several automotive companies.
